Thermoforming sheet
-
Plastics packaging, especially for food, is a current and future trend. Proper packaging and storage increase shelf life and transportability and so help improve supply capacities. Typical materials are PP, PS and PET. Multi-layer sheets often also have functional barrier layers such as EVOH for further protection of the packaged goods. High-grade packaging is made from PET, which features high transparency and excellent mechanical properties.
